Why and how to check your numerical reputation ?

You may like it or not, but we live in an interconnected world. You can decide to never post on social media and to never publish on any other platform. However, information about you and images from you or from your family are accessible on Internet. Googling your name is frequently the first thing, a competitor, a future client, a future employer, a future partner, a banker, or a malevolent person, will do. It is of importance you make a periodic review of your numerical reputation to decide to remove what you can remove or to limit its audience, to identify attacks against your reputation that you should burry or even replace (This is possible.), to identify positive third-party publications that you should promote and to assess the result of your efforts for occupying your numerical space by your own and/or favorable material.

Here, I will show you a quick analysis that I perform periodically because I was under fire of the French Far-right, in the past, and because I have a cybercriminal, located in a grey zone of international laws (Pakistan), who is after me for more than two years and a half, on blogs, on Facebook and on Twitter (more than 8,000 stalking tweets). After this review, I can attest the resilience of my numerical fortress. No attacks are visible on line.

Alors que la « galère ukrainienne » entame un nouveau chapitre de son odyssée pluri-décennale, il est utile de se rappeler d’où elle vient, de ce par quoi elle est passée et de ce à quoi elle a survécu avant de former le vœu qu’elle continue à être portée par l’intérêt ainsi que par le généreux capital de sympathie qu’elle a su mobiliser. Ainsi, elle pourra retrouver une vigueur nouvelle à l’issue d’une deuxième tranche de travaux concluant sa renaissance magistralement lancée à Pont-Aven.

Pamir Institute website presentation

Pamir has always been a remote and abandoned region of Upper Asia. Today, however, the people face rapid and shocking upheaval due to the terrorist threat, the Taliban irruption, Chinese expansion, and external interference from Pakistan in Afghanistan. This reinforces the need for a transnational vision. Therefore, the Pamir Institute is a think tank embracing all the Pamirs of Afghanistan, China, Pakistan and Tajikistan. The Pamir Institute does not advertise any commercial establishment. The Pamir Institute is not part of any government propaganda or political party.

In this article, we will present the layout of its new website which has three main sections: the home page, the research areas and the four countries mentioned above.

DOSSIER DE PRESSE: discours de haine et cyberharcèlement pakistanais islamistes contre un citoyen nantais

Les Etats occidentaux se trouvent démunis face au discours de haine en ligne tenus par des ressortissants de pays situés en zone grise du droit international. Leurs autorités y sont indifférentes, voire sont les premières à y recourir, quand elles ne les encouragent pas. C’est le cas du Pakistan. Ainsi, la cyber-harceleuse Ramla Akhtar, alias Rmala Aalam, y jouit depuis plus de deux ans d’une impunité complète, tandis qu’elle a décidé de s’en prendre à un citoyen français. On détaillera ici toutes les actions qui ont été menées sans succès, pour finalement constater que, dans cet espace de non-droit, chaque victime est livrée à elle-même. Dès lors, il ne reste plus qu’à envisager des sanctions de réciprocité.

Pakistan : Le gouvernement et les extrémistes se livrent un duel afin de savoir qui défend le prophète Mohammed

La France ne montre aucun signe d’intérêt sur le sujet des émeutes islamistes qui secouent actuellement, fin octobre 2021, le Pakistan. Cependant, comme à l’automne 2020 et en avril dernier, notre pays est directement concerné, pour ne pas dire menacé. Alors que presqu’aucune information n’est partagée publiquement sur ce sujet. De manière générale, les sources sont rares et peu fiables. De nombreuses images, dans les médias pakistanais et étrangers, datent d’avril 2021 ou même d’années antérieures, alors qu’elles sont censées représenter les événements se déroulant en ce moment. Pourtant, il ne serait guère responsable de mésestimer les conséquences potentielles de l’impasse dans laquelle le Premier ministre Iram Khan a engagé ses 220 millions de concitoyens musulmans. On ne peut pas, ici, prétendre donner une vision plus fine de la situation, mais on tentera d’apporter l’éclairage local et très pertinent d’Ahmed Quraishi.

Pakistan’s Government and extremists are locked in a duel over who defends Prophet Mohammed

France does not express any interest in the current (end of October 2021) Islamist riots shaking Pakistan. However, like in the 2020 fall and like last April, our country is directly concerned, not to say threatened. Unfortunately, almost no information is publicly shared about this topic. Generally speaking, sources are scarce and not reliable. Numerous pictures in the Pakistani and in the foreign media are from April 2021 or even from years before, while they are supposed to represent the today events. Nevertheless, the inextricable situation in which PM Imran Khan engaged his 220 million of Muslim fellow citizens is of importance due to its potential domestic and international consequences. We cannot, here, pretend to give a sharper and more detailed view of the situation. However, we will take advantage of the precious enlightening posted on Twitter by M. Ahmed Quraishi.

With closed borders, the  Afghan Wahan has, now, to rely on Tajik citizens solidarity for phone & internet

Afghan Wakhan is the corridor stretching between the town of Ishkashim (Afghanistan) and Chinese border. It has no public infrastructure such as hospital, actual car road and phone network. However, from Ishkashim (Afghanistan) to Gaz Khan (Afghanistan), it is possible to use the TCell network going from Ishakahim (Tajikistan) to Langar (Tajikistan), on the opposite bank of th Panj River, but buying units became a nightmare since Taliban invasion.

Since the Taliban invasion of the corridor, borders are closed. Aghan Wakhanis have no possibilities to buy units for their mobile.They struggle to find distant generous Tajik people who can buy units for them and directly credit their phone number. This help is a gift which can’t be refunded. Another consequence is that monitoring the level of the phone credit is a constant concern and very few, if not none, reports come from Afghan Wakhan under Taliban rule.

This is the situation until Gaz Khan. After this place, it is even worst. There is no network at all for the second part of the corridor and for Little Pamir. Only some people, who went there, bring back a little news. It is said, though not confirmed, that, two days ago, some staff of the Kabul Kyrgyz embassy went to Pamir to meet the Afghan Kyrgyz, the high altitude herders. There is no information available about the purpose of such a visit.

« Фініс-Террае » козацької чайки: р.Авен, о-ви Ґленан, мис Пенмарк, затока Одьєрн, Ра де Сен, Море Іруаз, Брестська Затока, р.Ольн

Козацька чайка «Пресвята Покрова», побудована у 1992 році у Львові, підкорила усі моря та водні шляхи Європи під своїм лазурно-золотавим стягом. А згодом, десять років тому, знайшла гостинний порт у невеличкому бретонському містечку Понт-Авен. Роки мандрів зробили своє діло, тому проведено значні реставраційні роботи за безкорисливої допомоги та підтримки місцевих мешканців, які щедро ділилися своїми знаннями. Перш ніж козацький човен  зможе повернутися до виконання своєї дипломатичної місії на морських просторах, йому ще залишається замінити зовнішні борти під ватерлінією. Цей проект не зміг втілитися в життя, як було заплановано, у м. Камаре. І в решті решт, українську галеру, як її інколи називають, можна буде відремонтувати у Шатолені завдяки підтримці друзів.
Але такий ремонт вимагатиме фінансування, яке львівська команда відразу знайти не подужає. Тому ми звертаємося до всіх небайдужих за пожертвуваннями та запрошуємо спонсорів до партнерства.

Une tchaïka cosaque totalement à l’Ouest

La tchaïka cosaque, Presvyata Pokrova, construite en 1992, à Lviv, a porté le pavillon aux couleurs azur et or sur toutes les mers et voies navigables d’Europe. Puis, il y a dix ans, elle a trouvé un port d’attache accueillant à Pont-Aven, petite cité maritime bretonne. Le poids de l’âge faisant son œuvre, d’importants travaux de restauration y ont été menés avec l’appui désintéressé et bienveillant de compétences locales. Avant que le navire cosaque puisse reprendre son rôle d’ambassadeur hauturier, il reste à remplacer la paroi extérieure de la coque sous la ligne de flottaison. Le projet n’a pas pu se matérialiser à Camaret ainsi qu’il était prévu. C’est finalement à Châteaulin que la galère ukrainienne, comme on l’appelle parfois, va entrer en chantier grâce à d’amicaux soutiens.
Mais pour cela, il faudra des financements que l’équipe de Lviv ne peut assumer seule. Nous faisons ici un appel aux dons et au partenariat de mécènes.
