Le 15 juin 2022, Vladimir Martus, commandant d’une frégate russe, a publié un commentaire sous l’article détaillant les nombreux problèmes soulevés par la présence fréquente de son navire dans le port français de La Rochelle. Voici, ci-dessous, la réponse qui lui est faite. Il est souligné, qu’en raison de la guerre russe en Ukraine, exhiber le drapeau russe est un outrage à la décence et à l’humanité, indépendamment de tout discours sincère ou de convenance. Une solution est proposée au Commandant Martus, tenant compte de son intérêt personnel et de celui de son navire.

On June 15, 2022, Vladimir Martus, Captain of a Russian frigate posted a comment under the article detailing the numerous issues raised by the frequent presence of his ship in the French harbour of La Rochelle. Here below is the answer made to him. It is reminded, that, because of the Russian war in Ukraine, showing off such a flag is an outrage to humanity, regardless any sincere or fabricated speech. A solution is proposed to him, taking into account his personal interest and the one of his ship.

The case of the film festival named « From Lviv to the Urals » evidenced how difficult it is to counter the pro-Russian lobby, if not a pro-Putin one, in Nantes, France. However, for our nationals, it only impacted a small local circle of cinephiles and agents of influence. On the other side, it revealed a Nantes diaspora and a refugee community, both from Ukraine, unanimously shocked. It aroused general outrage in Ukraine, where Russia systematically commits war crimes. The press review reveals that our media generally reacted naively and with lack of healthy scepticism. They shared an incomplete information, when it was not a misleading one.
Everything opposes Ukrainian culture and « Russian culture »
In order to get out of a deadly multi-centennial scheme, brought to its paroxysm since February 24, 2022, Ukrainian culture cannot and must not coexist with Russian culture, in the same space and during the same event. It is a basic prophylaxis.
I Stand with Ukraine
I do wonder how many of them will be dead in a few months or in a few days. I do wonder about how many wonderful children will be orphans, how many admirable ladies will become widows, because of the madness of one single criminal.
