Французькій правовій державі знадобилося два роки, щоб вжити заходів проти скандалу зі «Штандартом», який порушує санкції ЄС завдяки потужності російських мереж впливу. І це завдяки іспанському прикладу, а саме невеликій жменьці професійних журналістів та заклику до порядку з боку Європейської Ради. Завдяки їм 2024 рік став роком 14 прекрасних перемог.

The 14 victories of the “No Shtandart In Europe” collective in 2024
It took two years for the French rule of law in to take action against the Shtandart scandal, which violates EU sanctions because of the power of Russian networks of influence. We owe this to the Spanish example, to a small handful of professional journalists and to a call to order from the European Council. Thanks to them, 2024 will have been the year of 14 great victories.

Tuvieron que pasar dos años para que el Estado de Derecho en Francia tomara medidas contra el escándalo Shtandart, que violaba las sanciones de la UE debido al poder de las redes de influencia rusas. Se lo debemos al ejemplo español, a un pequeño puñado de periodistas profesionales y a una llamada al orden del Consejo Europeo. Gracias a ellos, 2024 habrá sido el año de 14 grandes victorias.

Il aura fallu deux ans pour que l’État de droit, en France, se mette en marche contre le scandale du navire Shtandart violant les sanctions UE, tant y sont puissants les réseaux d’influence russes. Nous le devons à l’exemple espagnol, à une petite poignée de journalistes professionnels ainsi qu’à un rappel à l’ordre du Conseil européen. Grâce à eux, l’année 2024 aura été celle de 14 très belles victoires.

European sanctions prohibit all Russian ships from entering French ports. A second letter was sent to the organizers of « Rouen Armada 2023 – Freedom Sails » (L’Armada Rouen 2023 – Les Voiles de la Liberté). They are reminded of the risks, in particular criminal, to which they are exposed when using the services of the Russian frigate « Standart ».
