Welcome to Pamir Trails
Since numerous decades, Pamir Trails is a trekking agency of Zood Khun, Chapursan (Chipurson, Chapursan, Chipursan) valley, in northern Pakistan. It is led by Alam Jan Dario, who organizes all kind of tours in High Asia.
Pamir Serai Guest Houses offers Wakhi homestay in Zood Khun and a more basic accommodation at Baba Ghundi Ziarat.
Pamir Trails offers treks, guided tours and jeep tours in Northern Pakistan and other Central Asia places
Pamir Trails the tour operator and travel agency based in Zood Khun, Chapursan Valley, serves the Pamir, Karakoram and Hindu Kush mountain ranges, from plains to glaciers and to high passes. It will guide you for treks on foot, horseback or yaks in Hunza, but also in the Afghan and Tajik corridors of Wakhan and Pamir.
Pamir Serai can arrange jeep transfers or tours to take you to spectacular places or events in northern Pakistan. Particular emphasis is placed on Wakhi mountain culture.
About the people of Pamir Trails
Alam Jan Dario, from Zood Khun in the Chapursan Valley of Hunza, is the founder of the Pamir Trails trekking and tourism company
He worked with Lonely Planet authors John Mock and Kimberly O’Neil on the guide. « Trekking in Karakoram and Hindukush ».
Haji Bibi, Pamir Serai manager, was born into the Qalender family in the Chapursan Valley . Her family takes care of the famous saint Baba Ghundi shrine for two generations. She is the first woman to help her husband, Alam Jan Dario, in the Chapursan Valley tourism sector.
Alam Jan and Haji Bibi have four children: two daughters and two sons.
Pamir Trails proposes homestay in Pamir Serai guest houses, Chapursan Valley
Located in the high and scenic Chapursan Valley, Pamir Serai guest houses are run by the Haji Bibi and Alam Jan Dario’s family. They are located in the village of Zood Khun and on the meadow of Baba Ghundi Ziarat. Access to Chapursan Valley is from Sost, via the Karakoram Highway.
It is a great homestay for those coming from the south before crossing the Chinese border or before discovering the northernmost parts of Pakistan. It is also a good stop for those just arriving from China.

A public cargo jeep links, daily, Baba Ghundi Hotel in Sost to Zood Khun with a 3 hours ride. Get the a confirmation of the schedule, which may vary, and book your place in advance.
The cargo jeep leaves Zood Khun at 5.30 am for returning to Sost. Consequently, shared vans allow same-day access to Passu, Karimabad and Gilgit.
