Where, when and how to visit the russian ship Shtandart at « l’Armada Rouen 2023 »?

The russian vessel « Shtandart », which is banned from European ports as a result of the fifth round of sanctions imposed following the Russian crimes at Boutcha, will arrive in Rouen at 5:30pm on June 7, 2023. It will be moored on the left bank of the Seine River near the Gustave Flaubert bridge until June 18. The quay will be freely accessible during the « L’Armada 2023 » festival. Free boarding will be possible every day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Shtandart’s arrival in Rouen

The russian vessel « Shtandart » will arrive in Rouen on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at 5:30pm, at the same time as the caravel « Vera Cruz », the galleon « El Galeón Andalucía » « , the trawler « Charles Marie« , the lobster boat « Tante Fine » and the three-masted schooner « Bel Espoir II ».

Shtandart’s departure

The russian vessel « Shtandart » will leave Rouen on June 18 during the « grand parade » holding its first departure at 8:00 am and the last one at 12:00 pm. The ship will then head for Le Havre.

Access to Shtandart

The Armada quays will be open to the public free of charge from June 8 to 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., via the four entrances shown on the general plan (see below). The Armada site remains open to all from 2:00 am to 10:00 am, using the entrances on the Guillaume Le Conquérant (William the Conqueror) bridge.

The ships, including « Shtandart », will open their decks daily for free visits from 10am to 5pm.

Shtandart’s location

The russian ship « Shtandart » (39) will be on the left bank, downstream of the Seine River, towards the Flaubert bridge, after the caravel « Vera Cruz » (38) and before the privateer « Le Renard » (40).
