When Pakistani portraits are under racist and neo-colonialist attacks on Twitter

While in Pakistan, I have been, mostly, in the northern part of the country. I took pictures of the (Wakhi) people from this high mountain region. I also took pictures from other ethnicities of Pakitan, when I could. They are, now, under Ramla Akhtar's attacks.

Tweets with pictures of Pakistani people from different ethnicities.

Please note that these pictures are known from the stalker we will talk about in the next sections. They are, all, in a public article dated April 2019 and in another one dated January 2020. Please, also, note that I always ask permission before taking picture and I also ask the portrayed people (or parents if minors) agreement before making their photos public.

These pictures are under disinformation and hate speech

The Pakistani pyschopath radicalized female, Ramla Akhtar, aka Ramla Aalam, tweeting under @GruaAbuseArkive depicts my photographic work as inspired by white-supremacism and subversion purposes.

Rmala Aalam pretends I just take photos of Wakhi people, a population she hates. The major reason, according to her, is because they have a « white skin » while she says she has a « brown skin ». Though Wakhi people are usually hospitable and tolerant ones, they are the only people who live in the high valleys where I spent most of my Pakistani time. Consequently they represent the biggest part, but not all, of my photographic work. Akhtar’s toxic speech is an illustration on how #Metoo and #BlackLivesMatter campaigns can be used on a deceptive manner by malevolent people.

In what country is it acceptable having a radicalized psychopath telling what people a foreign photographer is allowed to shoot?
Should we obey to this kind of male or female taliban-like preachers?

Ramla Aktar, aka Rmala Aalam, from southern lowlands hates Wakhi mountain people among whom she lives and sees them according to her neo-colonalist vision.

Knowing that these mountain people are among the most peaceful, tolerant and hospitable communities of Pakistan:
What do you think about this call for radical clashes?
What do you think about « Fuck #tourism »?

Personal volume and poor look of the stalker might add to the frustrations of the psychopathic bully.

I never met with this person, Ramla Akhtar, Rmala Aalam. If I had this opportunity, I would ask my colleague photographers:
Would you consider this person as a photographic model?
Would you spoil your model portfolio with her?

Thought mentaly disturbed, Pakistani Rmala Aalam, aka Ramla Akhtar, is aware of her non-photogenic dimension.

Rmala Aalam stole a painting from Rick Ortega, a Mexican artist, & used it for her Twitter profile picture.

Enraged by the beauties and the peaceful people displayed on my portfolio, the bully asked Artfolio to ban me.

My porfolio is here: https://bernard-grua.artfolio.com

Ramla Aalam invoked pornographic, violent and pedophile content under article 12 of Artfolio’s policy.

Please review my portrait website for pornographic, violent or pedophile content.

What do you think about the mental health and the intentions of a person issuing such a statement?

Below is the answer to Artfolio (a French company).

Just the continuation of a long term racist campaign

For your information this new attack is just part of a flood of calumnious denunciations this radicalized stalker, locally famous for her malevolence, sent over the last months. A Complaint to the Public Prosecutor has been filed at High Court against Ramla Akhtar defamation, calumnious denunciations and harassment. French Governmental Agency against cyber-bullying is also following this case.

Documentation about Ramla Aktar, aka Rmala Aalam, toxic activity on social media

Conclusion:

In its quest for foreign currency and local employment, Pakistan is pushing a strong media campaign, via foreign visitors. While the northern area is the most scenic part of the country and is inhabited by friendly minorities, it is promoted by Government. However, even there, it is important to act in a conservative manner. Your way can cross radicalized alien’s ones when you are there or once you came back. That’s what happened to me, almost one year after my return. The harassment campaign on social media started more than 12 months ago. It is still rabid. Because of the cultural difference, because of not identifiable frustrations, because of irrational behaviors, because of suicidal and death impulses, because of the judicial loophole, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of such a toxic nuisance.
